A law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney - E & I and Finance for its Wheeling office. The candidate will support the firm's innovation efforts to enhance the delivery of legal services through the integration of people, processes, and technology, with a specific focus on the E&I and Finance business units. They will collaborate closely with the Global Head of Practice Innovation and other members and leaders within these business units.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and enhance the use of practice content to streamline legal service delivery.
  • Coordinate the creation and automation of precedent libraries and deal documents.
  • Identify opportunities to improve practice content and processes.
  • Lead projects to develop and improve client-facing solutions.
  • Support projects to streamline and enhance legal service delivery.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training curriculum and knowledge sharing.
  • Integrate AI, including generative AI, into legal practice to automate workflows and documents.
  • Evaluate legal service delivery efficiency through data analysis and trend monitoring.
  • Educate legal professionals on practice content, technology, and initiatives.
  • Communicate and consult with various stakeholders on practice efficiency and initiatives.
  • Develop case studies and resources for marketing and business development.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited university or college.
  • Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience as an E&I attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with workflow, document, and communication technologies.
  • Understanding of knowledge management and project management best practices.
  • Enthusiasm for legal technology, including AI applications.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited university or college.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.

 

Skills:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with legal technology and AI applications.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
