The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in commercial litigation, with proficiency in various aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, pleadings, and document review.

Duties:

• Manage and execute complex litigation cases with a focus on commercial disputes.
• Conduct and oversee discovery processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and deadlines.
• Take and defend depositions, presenting a comprehensive understanding of case facts.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Supervise and coordinate document review processes, collaborating with legal support staff and technology resources.
• Provide strategic legal advice and analysis to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary, demonstrating a strong courtroom presence.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California Bar or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.
• Should have some years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on complex litigation.
• Proven track record of handling commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Strong understanding of federal and state civil procedure, rules of evidence, and legal research methods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials and a commitment to excellence in legal practice.
• In-court experience is preferred, showcasing the ability to effectively represent clients in litigation settings.
