## Tax Senior - Nat'l Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group The National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP made up of a number of tax service offerings. The Operational Partnership Services (OPS) team within the Partnership Solutions Group of NFTS is looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to refine their skillset with the ability to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on matters that mean the most to them. They will be able to diversify their industry experience by working with a variety of industries, and will also be responsible for delivering value to clients experiencing a public offering (including SPACs). ### Qualifications The successful Tax Senior must have: - Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week - 3+ years of experience in federal partnership tax - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field - Numerical-problem-solving focus - Aptitude in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio - Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment - Demonstrated research skills - Self-starter and demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities - Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve - One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: - Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA - If not CPA eligible: - Licensed attorney - Enrolled Agent - Certifications: - Project Management Professional (PMP) - Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) ### Preferred Qualifications In addition to the above qualifications, the ideal candidate will also have: - Advanced degree such as master’s in science of tax (MST), JD, or LLM - Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience - Transaction and M&A experience - Alteryx experience ### Salary Range The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $77,070 to $175,500.
