Legal Investment Analyst The candidate will be performing due diligence on cases for potential investment, including delving into the facts and legal issues presented by the cases and exercising good judgment regarding the merits of the cases and their likelihood of success. Underwriter will then provide legal advice and recommendations to the firm or individual regarding the advisability of investment in the cases. The position also includes ongoing monitoring of funded investments, meeting and speaking with lawyers and claimants to discuss litigation finance, conducting general research on legal, strategic and other issues. Bachelor’s degree required. Attorney or JD required. Should have sharp legal analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong time-management skills. Should have Trial experience. Private equity finance background, highly important . Qualitative and quantitative analysis. Should have 7-10 years practicing litigator.
