Responsibilities: - Conduct research and writing related transferable tax credits on the state and federal level - Participate in negotiations and transactions for transferable tax credits - Calculate federal disaster zone, employer paid leave and related state and federal hiring based tax credits - Participate in negotiations for state and local incentives - Conduct research and writing for location based credits and incentives - Complete requisite documentation for credits and incentives compliance purposes - Participate in business development activities as needed - Develop internal relationships within the firm and help grow external branding Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree required, with an emphasis in Accounting, Business or related field preferred - Master’s degree in Taxation and/or JD with LLM in Tax preferred - Minimum of 2 years of related tax experience required; public accounting experience preferred - CPA, bar membership or equivalent credential preferred.
