The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing pleadings, attending potential hearings, and responding to firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries.

 

Duties:

  • Manage routine bankruptcy matters, including drafting and reviewing pleadings and claims filed in bankruptcy cases.
  • Attend potential hearings and respond to general firm-wide bankruptcy inquiries.
  • Review filings on behalf of clients and monitor all electronic filings (ECFs).
  • Resolve routine bankruptcy matters with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court.

 

Requirements:

  • Law degree (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • License to practice law; license to practice in Georgia preferred.
  • Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Georgia preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws.
  • Computer literacy, including keyboard skills.
  • Professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Time management and effective communication skills.

 

Experience:
