The position requires membership in the Patent Bar (USPTO Registration Number) and 1-5 years of patent prosecution experience.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting patent prosecution and drafting patent applications related to life sciences technologies.
  • Providing legal counsel and support on intellectual property matters, including patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and due diligence reviews.
  • Managing client relationships and communication regarding intellectual property strategies and portfolio management.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support client initiatives and litigation efforts in the life sciences field.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and stakeholders within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Patent Bar membership (USPTO Registration Number) is required.
  • 1-5 years of patent prosecution experience in a biotechnology practice.
  • Advanced degree (.) in a life sciences technology area is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations, particularly related to patent prosecution in the life sciences industry.

 

Education & Certifications:
