A law firm in St. Louis is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to manage cases from inception through trial preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and 3+ years of experience in handling commercial litigation matters.

 

Duties:

  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks and strategic case management
  • Manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation
  • Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings
  • Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports
  • Assist in trial preparation, including strategy, discovery, records review, client interviews, and witness preparation

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri or Illinois
  • 3+ years of experience handling commercial litigation matters
  • Experience in taking and defending depositions
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri or Illinois

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage cases effectively from inception through trial preparation
  • Experience in taking and defending depositions
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
