Job Overview:

The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel and representation to clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in advising providers and professional entities on various aspects of business transactions, regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse issues, licensure, enrollment, and reimbursement within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to client service and teamwork.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
• Conduct regulatory diligence and structuring for business transactions.
• Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including Stark and anti-kickback laws.
• Assist clients with licensure and enrollment processes.
• Address reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid statutory and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to effectively manage client relationships.
• Stay abreast of developments in health care law and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in Colorado or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience representing providers and professional entities in complex legal matters.
• Strong understanding of health care laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and teamwork.

Preferred:

• Experience advising clients on reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks.

Education:
