The Insurance Tax Manager is a crucial role in PwC's Financial Services Tax practice. Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4 years of experience in the insurance industry or in public accounting practices related to domestic or foreign insurance tax departments
- CPA or Member of the Bar certification preferred
- Master's degree preferred

Preferred Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting domestic and/or international insurance industries
- Technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships, communicating value propositions, and managing resources and budgets
- Experience as a team leader, with the ability to create trust, encourage diverse views, and provide timely feedback
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in professional services environments, including innovating through new technologies, working with large data sets, and utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies
