Job Overview:

The Cyber, Privacy, And Data Associate Attorney will play a pivotal role in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters. They will assist clients in navigating the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on cybersecurity and incident response issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, policies, and compliance documentation related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant cybersecurity and data privacy laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and litigation related to cybersecurity incidents and data breaches.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in cybersecurity and data privacy laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
  • Membership to the CA State Bar.
  • Strong academic credentials with excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Outstanding oral communication skills.
  • Experience in advising clients on data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated, dynamic, and creative individual.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership to the CA State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
