A law firm in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience, particularly in commercial litigation cases, and possess exceptional writing skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of civil procedure.

Duties:

• Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, etc.
• Handle all aspects of discovery.
• Depose witnesses.
• Participate in court hearings and trials.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Support clients directly.
• Function well within a highly cohesive team.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably with commercial litigation cases within the litigation practice group of an AmLaw 200 law firm.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with clients.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure.

Education & Certifications:

• . from an accredited, highly regarded law school.
• Licensed in California and/or Utah.
