We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our Office of General Counsel (OGC) as an Associate General Counsel. In this role, you will provide legal support to our Litigation group, specifically on the Practice Protection Team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with talented individuals, develop your skills, and make a real impact on our firm and clients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and other legal processes, as well as regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations
- Develop and implement strategies to successfully and cost-effectively resolve litigation claims and regulatory investigations
- Collaborate with outside counsel and other members of OGC to deliver high-quality legal representation
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in developing financial projections for supervised matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience with complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms, professional organizations, or financial institutions is a plus
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the .
- Experience with the Division of Enforcement of the SEC or PCAOB is a plus, but not required
- Ability to manage multiple litigations, investigations, and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Strategic thinking in sensitive and complex situations, with a strong ethical code and integrity
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with a client-service orientation and ability to build strong partnerships
- Commitment to driving diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels
