Position Summary:
Deloitte is seeking a strategic and creative Multistate Tax Manager with experience in investment management, private equity, real estate, and/or hedge fund clients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by combining tax consulting solutions and innovative technology. As a Manager, you will work directly with clients, lead engagement teams, and have access to a collaborative group of specialists to provide state tax services. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
-Develop strong client relationships and provide tax consulting services
-Advise clients on state and local tax issues, specifically related to partnership and corporate tax returns
-Coordinate with clients' internal tax leadership and review tax calculations and compliance
-Research and analyze state tax legislation for applicability to clients
-Lead engagement workflow and supervise consultants and interns
-Mentor and develop talent in a diverse and inclusive workplace

Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in state income and franchise tax or federal tax, pass-through, tax research, and corporate tax returns
-4+ years of experience providing tax planning services and 2+ years of experience with investment management or partnership taxation
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
-Licensed CPA, attorney, or enrolled agent
-Ability to travel up to 10% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
