Job Responsibilities: - Direct multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location and entity choices, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization, while considering tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash posture. - Advise clients on tax planning decisions at a global level, taking into account short- and long-term considerations and consequences, and considering tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash posture. - Structure tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs for multinational private equity and strategic clients, while preparing tax opinions, memos, structure decks, and Excel models. - Prepare tax provision for financial statements and review compliance work product, as well as assist with reviewing a company's financial reporting of tax implications. - Advise on income tax treaty planning opportunities for inbound and outbound cross-border investing and trading activities. - Provide tax services to alternative investment companies, assisting at all stages of the investment life cycle for asset managers and portfolio companies operating globally. Qualifications: - Minimum of three years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, with a preference for a Masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM (with a concentration in tax). - Knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions. - Strong research and writing, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills. - Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, supervise and assist with the development of new and experienced staff professionals, and maintain professionalism while providing excellent client service. - Ability to develop and deepen client relationships and expand KPMG's presence in local and global markets. - Working with both . and .
