Salary Information:

- Competitive salary range of $116,960 - $169,600 (CA Only)
- Annual bonus potential up to 20% of salary
- Sign-on bonus potential for qualified candidates

Job Title: Senior Trial Attorney

Experience Information:

- At least three years of experience as an attorney, including civil jury trial experience or equivalent dispositive ADR experience or comparable outside experience
- Must be capable of handling cases of moderate to great exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

- Competently and ethically represent clients in assigned cases
- Handle cases with unique legal or procedural issues and/or involving severe to catastrophic injuries and/or damages
- Provide job-related guidance, supervision, and training to other attorneys
- Assist in managing and administering cases as requested by supervisor
- Keep supervisor informed of work and any problems encountered
- Consult with and provide opinions to members of the Claims Department
- Functionally supervise attorneys assisting with cases
- Maintain and update computerized litigation support systems
- Perform other assigned duties

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to carry and lift up to 25 pounds
- Hearing, seeing, standing, and walking (including stairs and steps)

Physical Environment:

- Job duties performed in a climate-controlled office environment
- Some exposure to uncontrollable outside environmental conditions
- Travel required via automobile and/or commercial transportation

Education Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree required
- Law school degree and member in good standing of the State Bar in the state of the position
