A law firm in Charlotte is actively seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with 3-10 years of experience in General Liability litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of legal tasks, including medical records analysis, court appearances, depositions, and motions practice, with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Duties:

• Review and prepare summaries of medical records.
• Draft initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, and appellate documents.
• Draft discovery requests and responses, including related motions.
• Regularly attend court appearances on behalf of clients.
• Take and defend depositions of both fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
• Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions.
• Draft motions for summary judgment.

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of experience in General Liability litigation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with medical records analysis.
• North Carolina licensed attorney.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of North Carolina.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
