Job Overview:

The Labor And Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients on a range of labor and employment matters. This role requires strong writing skills, exceptional research abilities, and a solid understanding of labor and employment laws.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients on various labor and employment law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Assist with deposition preparation, witness interviews, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client matters.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of traditional labor and employment experience.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to draft legal documents effectively.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Strong academic background preferred.
  • Compelling law school experience (., law review, law journal, etc.) and/or judicial clerkship experience is desirable.
  • Federal clerkship experience is highly desired.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Colorado or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
