As a Senior Counsel, you will play a crucial role in advising and contributing to the success of the business. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strong judgement and practical advice to The Trade Desk team
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and review a variety of commercial agreements
- Continually improve legal processes to support global growth
- Identify, research, and advise on relevant legal topics and risks
- Work closely with business development and client service teams to meet client needs
- Communicate complex legal concepts in layman's terms

Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in a nationally/internationally recognized law firm or in-house legal department
- Admitted to practice in California or the ability to register as In-House Counsel in California
- Juris doctorate from a top-tier US law school
- Experience negotiating with large global companies
- Excellent legal skills, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Effective communicator with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
- Strong business sense and judgement
- Background in advertising or digital media is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor
