Job Summary: As a Supervising Attorney, you will be responsible for providing competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all assigned cases. This includes managing a team of attorneys, handling complex cases, and providing assistance to the Managing Attorney in administrative duties. This is a virtual position open to candidates throughout Southern California. Responsibilities: - Assign cases to attorneys based on their skill and expertise levels - Train attorneys to improve their level of expertise - Perform managerial and administrative tasks as assigned - Communicate any case activity problems to the Managing Attorney - Supervise maintenance of computerized litigation support systems - Prepare and submit reports as required - Consult with the Claims Department on insurance policy and personal injury claims - Handle complex cases, including preparation of legal documents, attendance at hearings and trials, and other necessary tasks for proper representation - Functionally supervise attorneys as needed - Perform other duties as assigned Physical Environment: This role operates in an open office environment, either virtually or in an office setting. The position may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time, occasional reaching and bending, and occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds. The ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time is necessary.
