Finance Manager - Tax Preparation Advisors (PTPA)

PwC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our team as a Tax Preparation Advisor (PTPA). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our Internal Tax team and provide valuable services related to financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This is a full-time position with up to 20% travel required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and planning guidance to PwC partners and principals across the US.
- Manage and review individual tax returns and tax planning for executives.
- Utilize firm-issued technologies and technical skills to identify and address client tax issues.
- Lead virtual teams and maintain trusted client relationships.
- Coach and provide feedback to team members.
- Prepare and present complex materials.
- Utilize tax preparation software and online tax organizers.
- Research and analyze complex individual tax issues.
- Innovate and utilize digitization tools to optimize engagements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external resources.
- Lead on-going change and leverage new technology.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning.
- CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar certification.
- Experience with Partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, Schedules A,B,C,D, E, and year-end planning.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Google at Work (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience managing and performing individual tax compliance and planning for executives in a global network of professional services firms.
- Experience using various tax preparation software and online tax organizers.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Experience with large, complex data sets and data visualization tools.
- Understanding of tax technical business advising and developing new relationships.
- Familiarity with change management and new technology implementation.
