A law firm in Raleigh, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing.

 

Duties:

  • Meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings.
  • Manage discovery processes, including Electronic Discovery.
  • Participate in all aspects of trial preparation and litigation strategy.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and legal staff on case-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other case-related proceedings.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active law license in good standing.
  • 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
  • Federal clerkship background strongly preferred.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent writing and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Valid law license in the State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
