Job Overview:

The Estate And Trust Administration Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of matters related to estate and trust administration. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of estate planning and probate law, with the ability to manage complex cases effectively.

Duties:

  • Manage estate and trust administration cases from inception to resolution.
  • Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on estate planning strategies and options.
  • Conduct legal research on estate and trust law issues.
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on complex cases.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar (or ability to waive in).
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing estate and trust administration law.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning and probate law principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Certifications:

  • Colorado State Bar admission (required).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of estate and trust administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document drafting.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.
