The ideal candidate has a degree in law, an ability to prioritize tasks, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, team environment. The position is available in 42 locations and recruiting will end for this role 5/1/2024.

### Responsibilities

The role of a Tax Consultant (LLM) at Deloitte Tax involves assisting clients with strategic tax planning, audit defense, preparation of business and individual federal and state income tax returns and forms, and preparation of income tax provisions. Tax Consultants also provide valuable insights into clients’ business practices and procedures to help them make informed decisions.

### Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role should have an LLM degree, an ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment. An undergraduate degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field is preferred, but any college major is acceptable. The candidate must also have bar exam eligibility before beginning full-time employment and the ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work they do and the clients and industries/sectors they serve.

Preferred qualifications include a strong academic track record (minimum GPA of ) and relevant work experience (. previous work experience, internships, summer positions). The start date for this position will be in Fall 2024.

### Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78000 to $140000.
