A law firm is seeking a Technology and Business Litigation Attorney for its San Jose office. The candidate will be representing high-technology clients involved in intellectual property litigation and assisting clients in navigating business challenges and other high-exposure litigation matters.

 

Duties:

  • Handle litigation cases from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs
  • Manage discovery and depositions
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing
  • Serve as second-chair in trial proceedings
  • Represent clients in both state and federal court proceedings

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree
  • Demonstrated experience in the technology sector with intellectual property litigation
  • 8+ years of solid litigation experience (plaintiff or defense)
  • Experience in product liability, trademarks, trade dress, patents, copyrights, and related matters
  • Current CA Bar admission in good standing

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) Degree
  • Current CA Bar admission in good standing

 

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing
  • Ability to manage complex litigation matters
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Second-chair trial experience
  • Familiarity with both state and federal court proceedings
