The Litigation Member Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation matters, providing legal advice, and advocating on behalf of clients in court proceedings. This role requires extensive experience in litigation, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, employment law matters, and personal injury cases.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare case strategies, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations to advocate on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage cases and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients to provide legal advice, updates on case developments, and recommendations for resolution.
  • Participate in case evaluations and provide input on settlement negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Georgia.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate or better from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia.
