A law firm located in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team. The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation cases, including construction defects, business and commercial litigation, real property disputes, employment litigation, contract disputes, and other civil matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in drafting legal documents, managing discovery, conducting research, representing clients in court, and providing support through trial.

Duties:

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Manage discovery and handle all aspects of pretrial to trial.
• Conduct legal research and writing to support litigation efforts.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Prepare for and provide support through trial.

Specialized Matters:

• Construction defect litigation.
• Business and commercial litigation.
• Real property disputes.
• Employment litigation, including wage, hour, and PAGA litigation.
• Contract disputes and other civil litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of civil litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills with experience in various civil matters.
• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
• Ability to manage discovery and navigate pretrial to trial processes.
