Duties:

  • Handle cases and investigations concerning Internet law, privacy, data security, copyright, artificial intelligence, platform liability, and First Amendment issues.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on a wide range of internet-related matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings, and argue motions in court.
  • Advise clients on compliance with internet regulations, privacy laws, and data security standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic approaches to litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop and implement case strategies.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in cases and investigations concerning Internet law, privacy, data security, copyright, artificial intelligence, platform liability, and First Amendment issues.
  • Stellar academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Membership in the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Membership in the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
