A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney focusing on asbestos litigation.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, lawyers, and third parties, producing high-quality work products, meeting deadlines, and fostering positive work relationships. The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of asbestos litigation experience, superior research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Duties:

• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work product
• Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required
• Foster positive work relationships
• Comply with all firm policies and practices
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 4+ years of asbestos litigation experience
• Superior research and writing skills
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience managing a case docket and appearing in court preferred

Education and Certifications:

• Admission to California Bar

Skills:

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proficient in verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
