BDO, a leading accounting and advisory firm, is seeking a Tax Associate for their Core Tax Services team. In this role, you will utilize your educational background and strong communication and organizational skills to assist with tax return preparation and research. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, or a Bachelor's degree in another focus area with CPA certification.

As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring clients comply with all applicable tax authorities while minimizing their tax and reporting burdens. You will also work with tax software applications to complete simple tax returns for review. Other duties include assisting with tax accruals, providing tax consulting services, and working with a team to complete projects.

BDO offers competitive salaries based on qualifications, experience, and location. Some salary ranges include:

- California: $75,000 - $82,000
- Colorado: $56,000 - $68,000
- NYC/Long Island/Westchester: $72,000 - $78,000
- Washington: $65,500 - $75,000
