Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of legal experience
  • Foundational knowledge of federal, state, and foreign cybersecurity laws
  • Motivation to learn technology and forensic investigations
  • Prefer experience liaising with claims counsel and forensic experts
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to continuing proficiency in cybersecurity and data privacy laws
  • Admission to GA Bar

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia

Skills:

  • Legal counseling in cybersecurity and incident response
  • Knowledge of state data breach notification laws, CCPA, HIPAA, GLBA, etc.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Project management and organizational skills
