- Seeking a Tax Senior Manager with experience in real estate tax and serving real estate owners and operators.

What You'll Do:

- Provide federal tax consulting and compliance services to clients in the Real Estate industry sector.
- Work directly with clients, manage tax engagement team, and have access to an elite group of specialists.
- Use state-of-the-art technology to streamline tax compliance processes and achieve worldwide compliance.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships in the real estate industry.
- Advise clients on a variety of tax issues, including REIT qualification, Tax Reform impact, business restructuring, and tax controversy.
- Oversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects using state-of-the-art technology and data analytics.
- Manage engagement workflow, team resources, and billing.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, providing leadership, counseling, career guidance, and work/life fit guidance.

The Team:

- Global leaders in providing professional services to the Real Estate industry.
- Work with clients to address critical issues brought on by regulatory changes, competition, globalization, technology advancements, and changing customer demands.
- Clients include investment managers, partnerships, private equity, Real Estate Investment Trusts, and other real estate owners and operators.
- Offer a spectrum of business tax services, including tax planning, compliance, controversy and risk management, and specialized services such as research and development, government incentives, and tax management consulting.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- 8+ years of corporate or international tax experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, or CFP.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM.
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
- Experience with US clients and understanding of US tax.
- Solid understanding of real estate tax technical and transaction skills.
- Demonstrated effective communication and research skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Management experience.

Salary Information:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,490 to $272,090.
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program.
