A law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney for its Woodland Hills, CA office.

Job Overview:

The Civil Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse range of cases, from contract disputes to personal injury claims. They will manage cases from inception to resolution, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and representing clients in court.

Duties:

  • Handle a broad spectrum of cases, including contract disputes, personal injury claims, employment matters, and more.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Manage discovery processes.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Take depositions.
  • Manage a caseload independently while also collaborating with team members.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Experience in the courtroom and taking depositions; trial experience is a plus.

Education & Certifications:
