Position Summary:

The Tax Transformation Office at Deloitte Tax is seeking a Senior Manager to join their team. This role will involve collaborating with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders to drive improvements in service delivery. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for understanding Tax business strategy and transformation aspirations, coaching and developing team members, and managing multiple projects. Responsibilities:

- Understand Tax business strategy and transformation aspirations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Coach and develop team members to enhance delivery capabilities
- Manage multiple projects that span Tax Years
- Define and manage workplans, resource estimates, and budgets
- Track and report on key results
- Identify and address dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests
- Engage with Tax professionals to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Analyze business processes and apply agile and design thinking techniques
- Collaborate with technology teams throughout the development lifecycle
- Oversee user testing and review learning strategies and materials
- Assess business readiness and analyze user feedback
- Lead deployment and decommission legacy systems
- Integrate program and project resources
- Provide executive reporting

The team:

The Tax Transformation Office at Deloitte Tax is responsible for defining delivery standards and processes to support the delivery of Tax services, as well as the development and deployment of technology to enable service delivery. The team is made up of professionals from various backgrounds, including Tax, Human Capital, and Technology Consultants. They consult and execute on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design and deployment and adoption.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Active accreditation such as CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or Technology Certifications
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days in person per week)
- Ability to travel up to 25% for project work

Preferred qualifications:

- Large scale transformation experience
- Strong Program and Project Management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of data analysis and metrics
- Experience in end-to-end technology project delivery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a professional service environment

Salary information:

The wage range for this role takes into account various factors, such as skills, experience, and certifications. The disclosed range estimate does not include geographic differentials. At Deloitte, individuals are typically not hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances. The estimated salary range for this position is $125,510 to $285,749 per year.
