Job Title: Senior Trial Attorney Location: Hampton Roads, Tidewater, Southeast Virginia (Remote) Department: Legal Salary: $82,, per year Overview: Join the Allstate team during this exciting time of growth and innovation. Responsibilities: • Represent insured and the company in defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases • Prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions • Argue pre and post-trial motions • Provide counsel to business clients on day to day issues • Project management, coordination, and collaboration between legal teams • Monitor and review new laws and regulations and provide advice on their impact • Investigate and pursue subrogation litigation as appropriate • Manage projects Requirements: • Juris doctorate and a license to practice law in Virginia • Ability to work remotely and travel within the Virginia territory • 2+ years of experience • Insurance defense, subrogation, and/or personal injury litigation experience preferred • Trial and/or arbitration experience preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle a moderate to complex case inventory • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Lexis, and internet proficiency • Ability to work well with others and independently Compensation: • $82,, per year • Based on experience and qualifications Please note: This job description is not a contract of employment and may be changed or reassigned at any time.
