Job Overview: A law firm in Tysons Corner, VA, is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling. Preferred qualifications include experience in traditional labor law, OSHA, and/or transactional matters. Admittance to the Virginia Bar is a prerequisite for this position.

Duties:

• Handle employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support cases and provide counsel.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and address their employment-related legal needs.
• Assist in conducting discovery, including depositions, document requests, and interrogatories.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal developments, regulations, and best practices in employment law.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal staff to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Participate in negotiations, settlements, and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment litigation and counseling.
• Admitted to the Virginia Bar.
• Strong research and writing skills demonstrated through prior legal work.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Familiarity with traditional labor law, OSHA, and/or transactional experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
