The AVP, Associate Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to LPL Financial in the areas of brokerage, product, and business support. Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise contracts with mutual fund, alternative investment, advisory platform, insurance, and annuity issuers
- Provide legal analysis on securities regulations and insurance laws in a transactional context
- Advise on platforms and product initiatives in a mergers-and-acquisitions context
- Ensure adherence to contracting processes and standards, including risk allocation and data security

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm or company in the financial services industry
- Admission to a state bar in good standing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of regulatory landscape for broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and insurance agencies

Pay Range: $137,520-$206,280/year
