Job Overview: A law firm seeks a seasoned Trademark Attorney with at least 4 years of experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, and litigation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in domestic and global trademark matters and familiarity with FTC regulations. Duties:

  • Provide legal advice on advertising and marketing campaigns to ensure compliance with FTC regulations and other advertising laws.
  • Handle Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings.
  • Litigate trademark infringement and false advertising claims in federal court.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a law firm setting.
  • Deep and regular experience in trademark clearance and prosecution work (domestic and global).
  • Familiarity with a review of creative assets for compliance with FTC and other advertising laws.
  • Experience with copyright law.
  • Experience with TTAB proceedings and litigating trademark infringement and false advertising claims in federal court (desirable).
  • Proficiency in Spanish (bonus).
  • Background in restaurant, software, life sciences, and consumer packaged goods industries (bonus).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.

Certifications:

  • Certification in Trademark Law (preferred).
