The organization, Baltimore County, is seeking a highly qualified Law Clerk to join their team in Towson, MD. This is a Non-Merit position with a salary of hourly. The Law Clerk will work under the general supervision of the County Attorney, Deputy County Attorney, or designee(s) and will assist with litigation, operational, transactional, and administrative matters concerning Baltimore County government. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of law and court procedures, excellent communication and research skills, and a strong work ethic. The position is for 12 hours per week for 12 weeks and the selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to researching case law, drafting legal documents, attending negotiations, and providing legal advice to various governmental agencies. The Law Clerk will also have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and gain valuable hands-on experience in the legal field.
