A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with strong academic credentials and litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, along with experience in drafting pleadings and briefs, managing discovery, and appearing before state and federal courts.

 

Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for state and federal court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters.
  • Assist with traditional and electronic discovery, including document review and production.
  • Manage case files and documents, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Assist with and/or take and defend depositions of witnesses.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Assist with trial preparation and strategy.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (.) degree from accredited institutions.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 2-5 years of litigation experience in a mid to large law firm.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Familiarity with managing traditional and electronic discovery.
  • Ability to appear before state and federal courts.
  • Federal clerkship experience is a plus.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (.) degree from accredited institutions.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.

 

Skills:
