Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage analysis, including addressing bad faith and extra-contractual concerns
- Perform legal research and analysis, providing conclusions and recommendations for coverage issues and claims handling decisions
- Develop and analyze claims, underwriting, and litigation data
- Present complex issues to upper management
- Give guidance on additional investigation required for resolution
- Communicate with company stakeholders
- Manage and consult on pending cases
- Collaborate with outside counsel for proactive litigation strategies
- Direct and manage case strategy and budget
- Review, comment, and approve legal documents
- Assist with deposition preparation and internal investigations
- Communicate with upper level claims management and Litigation Department leadership

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of liability coverage experience in-house or at a law firm
- Understanding of national coverage and extra-contractual/bad faith law
- Ability to navigate large company with minimal guidance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic Excel skills

Salary Information:
- Salary range for this role is $125,- $150,
- Base pay may vary depending on education, experience, skills, location, and travel requirements
- Range may be modified in the future
