Duties:

  • Research relevant statutes, case law, and legal developments.
  • Draft motions, briefs, and appeals for various immigration cases.
  • Analyze cases to identify potential forms of relief and issues.
  • Review applications to ensure accuracy and proper preparation of documents.
  • Prepare clients for interviews before USCIS and represent them in immigration court.
  • Appear before Probate and Family Courts within California.

 

Requirements:

  • Active member of the California State Bar.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Dedicated commitment to public interest work, particularly in immigration law.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
