West Covina office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will be drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a diverse range of agreements, and filing comprehensive complaints and airtight responses. Will be working closely with a team to prepare comprehensive briefs and motions on each case that goes to trial; preparing persuasive motions. Interfacing with clients about discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and other case-related work. Conducting depositions and discovery; performing industry research on legal matters related to specific matters, as well applicable legislation; and making frequent court appearances, hearings, and pre-trial conferences. Prior insurance defense experience is a must, including substantive law and motion practice, conducting and defending depositions (parties, witnesses, experts), discovery and related motions, court appearances, and familiarity with insurer reporting requirements. Trial experience is preferred. Prior experience with rendering coverage opinions, conducting investigations, and preparing related reports and correspondence required. Should have admission in good standing with the California State Bar. Familiarity with insurance policies (GL, D&O, E&O, etc.) and insurer requirements essential. Must have excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills. The firm offers a benefits package, including 401K, medical, dental and vision insurance.
