A law firm in Irvine is seeking an Associate Attorney with a focus on immigration law. The Associate Attorney will represent clients in various immigration matters, including employment-based cases, business-related immigration, and work visa applications. They will draft legal documents, prepare responses to government inquiries, and provide counsel to clients. Additionally, they will conduct legal research and participate in case evaluations and client conferences.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment-based immigration cases (EB1A, EB1B, NIW, EB2, EB3 PERM labor certification)
  • Handle business-related immigration matters (EB5 cases, regional center designation applications, EB1C)
  • Assist with work visa applications (H1B, L1, O1, E2, etc.)
  • Draft petition letters and prepare supporting documentation
  • Prepare responses to USCIS Requests for Evidence and other legal documents
  • Counsel and advise clients on immigration matters
  • Conduct legal research using computer-assisted tools
  • Participate in case evaluations and client conferences

 

Requirements:

  • JD degree from a law school
  • State Bar admission with any State Bar license
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Strong ability to communicate complex legal issues accurately
  • Self-sufficient with strong problem-solving and legal research skills
