A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Santa Monica, CA, office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience with private offerings, general venture capital and tech company corporate transactions, public company representation, and public offerings.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will provide legal support and counsel in corporate law matters, including private offerings, venture capital transactions, and public company representation. The candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent academic credentials, exceptional verbal and written skills, and superior communication skills. Membership to the CA State Bar is required.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate law matters, including private offerings, venture capital transactions, and public company representation.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate law issues.
  • Assist senior attorneys in negotiations and transactions.
  • Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience with private offerings, venture capital transactions, and public company representation.
  • Membership to the CA State Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
