Albuquerque office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a plaintiff associate attorney with 3+ years of experience in litigating personal injury cases (plaintiff or defense). The candidate will represent clients injured from the beginning (intake) to the end (disbursement) of their cases and all stages in between and resolve cases through negotiation before litigation, through litigation, and trial. Sign up new clients. Send demands out within one month of MMI. Negotiate resolution within two months of demand. File complaints within one month of the adjuster's roadblock. Schedule a trial within two months of the answer. Effectively and timely depose witnesses in a way that sets up high leverage or verdict. Write winning, effective, and economical motions that set up high leverage and verdict. Prepare thorough, comprehensive, but simple mediation binders that compel high settlement. Take cases to trial and win. Regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and/or in person. Must have the ability to become licensed in New Mexico, either through reciprocity, transferring UBE score to New Mexico, or taking the Bar exam.
