This role is available in 29 different locations, so you have the opportunity to choose where you want to work. As a Tax Manager, you will utilize your prior experience to provide tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients. This is a leadership role, where you will mentor and lead teams, as well as advise clients on important tax and business issues. The Tax Manager position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns, as well as 3 years of experience in investment management or partnership taxation. You must also have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and one of the following accreditations: CPA, Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, CFA, or CFP. This role also requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for performing high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings. You will also prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities, and the tax implications of various transactions to the organization. In addition, you will train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors, as well as take on lead client-contact roles. Other responsibilities include billing and profitability analysis on engagements, and involvement in marketplace eminence building and pursuits.
