A law firm in Lancaster, CA, is seeking an Attorney with a focus on personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience, be a licensed member in good standing with the California Bar, and possess strong advocacy and writing skills. They should be comfortable managing a heavy caseload, working both independently and as part of a team, and be able to thrive in high-pressure situations.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury litigation cases, including client consultations, case investigations, and courtroom appearances.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, for both pre-trial and trial proceedings.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties when possible and advocate vigorously for clients when necessary.
• Manage a significant caseload, ensuring all cases progress efficiently and are well-documented.
• Collaborate with colleagues, staff, and clients to develop effective legal strategies.
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide sound legal advice.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Self-motivated, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
