A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel for its Phoenix, AZ location.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Of Counsel will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation in litigation matters, particularly focusing on product liability and complex commercial litigation. They will utilize their extensive experience and expertise to deliver high-quality work products and support the firm's litigation efforts.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • . degree.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience (preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm), with a focus on product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Must have a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) to be considered.
  • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are highly preferred.
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, are a must.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize is required.
  • Prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail will be critical to success.
  • AZ Bar admission.
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.
