Zoom is seeking a Privacy Counsel to join our legal team and support our growing enterprise and customer experience products. This is a full-time, remote position with a salary range of $118, to $259,. We are looking for a candidate with at least 7 years of experience practicing law in-house or in a combination of law firm and in-house settings. The ideal candidate will have a . from an ABA accredited law school and . bar admission, as well as a strong understanding of data privacy and related terminology. The Privacy Counsel will play a crucial role in maintaining user trust and compliance with global privacy regulations.

As a member of the Zoom privacy team, the Privacy Counsel will collaborate cross-functionally to implement privacy policies, conduct risk assessments, and support product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have experience advising product teams on privacy requirements and be familiar with privacy issues affecting B2B cloud services. They should also have knowledge of global privacy and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA, and FERPA.

The Privacy Counsel should have excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking abilities, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. They should also be able to quickly identify and prioritize risks and outcomes. This position offers a window of at least 5 days to apply, with a potential closing date of 05/31/24. The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value.
